The Bible is not a fairy tale, but every great story happened “once upon a time.” The Once Upon a Time Storybook Bible highlights powerful and inspiring stories from the Bible, beautifully illustrated with fantastical artwork by Omar Aranda. ONCE UPON A TIME HOLY BIBLE and ONCE UPON A TIME STORYBOOK BIBLE:

With the popularity of fairy tales and Disney animation, and especially with the new release of Disney’s live action Beauty and the Beast on March 17, Zonderkidz wanted to publish a storybook Bible and full -text Bible (Holy Bible offered in hardcover, and pink leathersoft editions) that would resonate with children and families who loved those types of movies, and loved reading a great story.
The art will captivate Disney lovers with similar looking characters and color palettes
Zonderkidz wanted to capture fans of this genre, but introduce young children to the word of God, and introduce them to the great characters of the Bible. It’s important to note that this brand serves to resound the theme that the Bible is NOT a fairy tale, but every great Bible story happened once upon a time. The Bible is the ultimate Happily Ever After story!
What Christian parent doesn’t want to tie in Bible learning fun with what their kids already love, but also have the opportunity to teach them that the real heroes and stories of our faith come straight from God’s Word.
The Storybook Bible utilizes even more of the captivating art style and beautiful narrative to tell the major stories of the Bible, and the Holy Bible includes the full-text of the bestselling New International Reader’s Version (NIrV) translation, and highlights 6 great stories of the Bible in full-color tip-in pages.  (there will be 6 stories, and each story is told on 4 illustrated pages.)

MY REVIEW:

I finally received my books and I thank you.  Two days before the due date to send in my review.  I live across a mass ocean and delivery time usually takes time, no kidding 😊  Anyway what I like about Once Upon A Time Storybook Bible, everything.  I am happy how the Bible is told like reading a story book children can relate to and not be afraid of the Bible or afraid of God or learn about the newborn King, Jesus.  Also there's  a note after each story titled, "Happily Ever After" about God's reasons why he love us, trust us and trust in him, worship him, and how he watches over us.  Pray for his help and trusting God I felt that, truly by reading this book.  Some stories, for example Zacchaeus the Tax Collector explains how Jesus knew Zacchaeus was not a good person but still wanted to be friends with him.  Why?  Jesus loves us no matter what mistakes we make.  Messages like this to a child carries a lot of weight.  A wonderful book to read to the little ones and lessons to learn too.

NIRV Once Upon a Time Holy Bible, I am keeping for myself.  I own several Bibles however this one feels right for me.  Simplistic,  easy to handle and I can follow the stories quite well.  Words are as I mentioned simple, you see if you pickup a book and open it, the first few pages will tell you if it's  interesting enough to read it.  And "yes" I felt comfortable enough to skim through it and stop from time to time to read a story and verses.  So many Bibles out there and I read many by far, I for one found this particular  book  very good.   I have not opened my Bible much (bad tutu🤗) however I know I will be doing more of it now.  Thank you to FlyBy Promotions & publishers, I received two books in exchange for a review and post.  Thank you!!!
